This kit is of the 1953 Corvette Convertible, car which began the Corvette legacy. This Flint, Michigan production was inspired by light, small European sports and would develop into an American automotive legend that continues today.

The 1953 Corvette was a simple car with a proved 235 cu. in. in-line 6-cylinder engine, fiberglass body and 2-seat interior. The car was only available as a roadster in white with a red interior and black convertible top.

The kit can be built as a stock or custom. The kit's features include: 150 horsepower 235 cubic inch "Blue Flame" 6 cylinder engine, custom chromed valve covers, Firestone tires on stock wheels or wire look wheels with Goodyear Rally GT tires.
